Hello girls!

Last day we had a little review of the parts of the house... You did well, you learn a lot. It's important to revise new words we learn everyday so, please, try to do that revision before we star the lesson. It makes me happy!

Then you showed me your wonderful family trees, and I knew a bit more about you and your family. Very good!!

Then we introduced the parts of the body by using first a crocodile... do you remember? it was great... all the things you knew before. We practised with the classmates pointing all the parts we learnt. This was really well done!

We had lot of fun when we listened to and danced "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" and after you worked quite hard with the worksheets.

Next day you have to take something... Remember???  Your favourite dish!! Prepare something (easy, please) and tell us about the ingredients. It's going to be great, I'm sure. I can't wait... mmmmmm delicious!

Hello girls!!

First of all I'd like to say that I'm pleased to meet you. I hope we can keep our promise of have fun while we learn new things class after class.

In our first session we introduced ourselves and after that we revised vocabulary related to the parts of the house. We listened to a song and you sang and danced, very well, by the way!!

Then we introduced new words related to the family and we drew a family tree. We spoke about our family and had fun. Remember that you have to draw your family tree for next day, ok?

WEEK 7

Hi children!

During our last lesson we learnt plenty of things.Firstly I checked your homework, nearly everybody could say the days of the week. CONGRATULATIONS!

We continued learning the opposite of adjectives with the domino game, afterwards we remembered the different pairs playing a ball game, it was great fun.

Once again we revised the numbers 1-20. I know numbers can be a bit difficult but please revise them. You can use this video.

We learnt how to talk about different jobs in English, ex. policeman, teacher, architect, nurse, student. We used a great card game with a lot of beautiful images.
To keep revising our vocabulary we filled a worksheet about homes, we wrote the different parts of a home, ex. bathroom, garden, bedroom, kitchen.

WEEKS 5 & 6

Dear children,

How are you since our last lesson? Yesterday we did quite a lot of things. First of all we filled a worksheet with numbers from 10-20 in order to practice for the game we played after.

We played a board game called The toy shop game, we divided the class into 2 teams, each team threw the dice and had to say and write the number of toys there were in ecah square.

Example: There are seventeen dolls
               There are thirteen robots
               There are eleven kites.

With these game the kids revised the spelling of numbers while they had a great time playing.
We also used some sets of flaschards to revise the clothes, the house and the animal vocabulary.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! You showed the teacher you remember your vocabulary really well.

We sang and did the actions of some songs and we learnt the days of the week with a very interesting video.

WEEK 4

Dear students,

How are you? Last week I was unable to come to class because I was ill that is the reason why Sonia taught you the lesson. She told me you were nice and participative. I thank her a lot for taking such good care of you.

During the lesson you played some very interesting flashcard games to revise the animals, the clothes or the food vocabulary. You also practised the numbers playing with some bingo cards. And finally you played your favourite game, Hot Potatoe.

Dear children,

How are you? Did you play a lot during the weekend?

Last Friday we played a lot of games and learnt new words about food and about feelings.

We also played a new bingo to revise the alphabet, we realized we don't remember the different letters very well so we will continue working on this area.

Dear children,

How are you?? Did you have a nice holiday? How many presents did Father Christmas and the Three Wise men gave you?
