Week 9

 We learnt about feelings with the help of 9 froggies. A child did the mimics and the rest of the class had to guess the feeling  she was representing. For example, angry, scared or bored.

We learnt the name of different items of clothing playing a memory game. We sang our favourite songs and did the actions.

 

We played Simon says and practised speaking answering to simple questions. We watched some musical videos to learn new songs

WEEK 8

Dear parents and children,

First of all I would like to apologise for the delay in updating the blog, I had flu and wasn't feeling very well.

During Friday the 15th November lesson we learnt the body parts. We learnt to point at our hands, neck, legs, mouth, head or arms. We used a simple memory game to help us remember the new vocabulary.

We did some listening exercises using the words we knew about the differents parts of a house. For example the cd said Put the shoes under the bed in the bedroom, and the girls drew a line that put the shoes under the bed. We also did a crossword to help us remember the differents rooms in a house like kitchen, bathroom, living room...

On Saturday we had an extra lesson to catch up with the bank holidays.
It was a different type of class because we were alone at the academy. The girls enjoyed this very much. We visited every room and I explained to them  whose class was each one and showed them the photocopy room.

Sara brought somo wonderful pictures about Room in the broom and we cello taped them on the wall. The girls did some beautiful pictures that we also put on the walls to decorate the class.

We played Simon says but instead of the teacher, every girl had the chance of being Simon and giving the orders to the rest of the class, they had a great time while revising vocabulary.
We sang our favourite songs like the rainbow song, the finger family or head shoulders knees and toes.

WEEK 7

Dear girls!
How are you?? Did you have a nice time in Halloween? Did you get a lot of candy?

During our sixth lesson we revised and learnt a lot of things.We completed a worksheet about farm animals and learnt how to say goat or goose.
You helped me making a new game called Memory. With this game we revised the vocabulary we know about toys.
We sang and did the actions of various songs like Head shoulders, knees and toes and if you are happy and you know it... we practised the songs we already know and improved the pronunciation of the lyrics.

At the end of the lesson we watched a video about a good witch called "Room on the broom" it was funny and I was very pleased to discover how well you understood the cartoons.

WEEK 5

Hello girls!!

Next week we'll celebrate Halloween. Are you going to dress up?
Alexia and Laura will be witches, Nuria will wear a skeleton costume and Sara will also dress up but doesn't know yet! Two witches and a skeleton. How scary!!

During our lesson we learnt Halloween vocabulary and revised the classroom vocabulary with a game.
We had a singing and dancing contest and won a lot of stickers.
At the end of the lesson we played a Halloween memory game.

Dear children and parents,

First of all I would like to apologize for the technical problems we had with the blog. I've checked it and I think eveything is ok now.

Last Friday we revised the Five little monkeys song, we did the warming-up asking and answering questionsnabout our soft toy animals.
We learnt, sang and did the gestures of the Head shoulders knees and toys song, you are great dancers!
We played two games, the first one with the purpose of revising numbers 1-20 and the second one in order to learn new vocabulary while drawing.

Hello everybody!

We had a great time last Friday during our first lesson. We learnt the Rainbow song and met our friends the soft toy animals. We revised saying our age and the colours.

All the girls worked very hard and got plenty of points for the Olympic games.

Punctuations will be posted next week after the lesson.
